About DPFKSFormed in the spring of 2005, The Drug Policy Forum of Kansas (DPFKS) promotes public education on alternative drug control polices to create a much needed change in the Sunflower State. Drug policy reform intersects with many issues vital to a safe and healthy Kansas, including criminal justice, economics, public health, racial justice, women's rights, and students' rights, just to name a few. We are bringing together professionals in these disciplines to debate the alternatives to criminal justice penalties for illegal drug use. The Drug Policy Forum of Kansas is a proud to announce we have received the following grants from the Drug Policy Alliance $5000 in the spring of 2006 to conduct our state-wide poll, and $10,000 in the winter of 2006 to further our educational and research mission.
